Emulating an idea seen in Prague where colorful ribbons decorate park trees throughout the Easter season, Saint Thomas Academy's Campus Ministers took the idea one step further. Cutting ribbons for every student at school, students were asked to share a special prayer and write them on a ribbon. These ribbons were tied to two 15' birch trees which stood in the court.

The Cadets offered prayers for families and individuals, for military personnel serving around the world,  the people of Japan and Haiti and for those retiring from Saint Thomas. Other prayers were offered for self improvement, for improved health and for the world and the environment. Father Thomas O'Brien shared that he loved the idea and intended to make this an annual tradition at the Academy.
