Summer Study Skills

We encourage all new STA students to attend one of the Bridge to STA: Study Skills courses; this is a great way for the incoming student to learn about the Academy, meet fellow classmates, and help with the expectations of school work.

We also offer a Writing Skills summer course. The course is one week long. Participants will learn modes of pre-college writing and study brainstorming, organizing an essay, revising work, and increasing overall clarity in writing.

New this summer we will offer a math enrichment class, a reading comprehension class, and various college prep classes for applications and essays.
