Step 1: Visit Our Campus

Step 2: Apply
Complete an online application. Start the formal application process by completing our online application form so we can really get to know you and your son. Prospective students will also need current mathematics and English teachers to complete an
We are accepting applications for all grade levels.
Step 3: Take an Entrance Exam
All incoming students, grades 6 through 10, are required to take an entrance exam. To provide students every opportunity for success in our college prep program, entrance exams are used to assess each student’s ability and potential. Your completed and returned application reserves your spot to take the entrance exam.

Step 4: Apply for a Financial Grant
See if you qualify for financial assistance. Approximately 40% of STA families receive assistance. Grants are available based on need and merit. Learn more about STA financial assistance.

Step 5: Acceptance
Letters of Intent are mailed from our Admissions office.
Timeline: February (rolling thereafter as space is available)
Step 6: Submit Your Deposit
A $400 deposit is due March 3rd (or within two weeks of admission for students admitted after February) for new students. The deposit is billed within Smart Tuition, our tuition management program). The remaining tuition can be paid using one of our Smart Tuition plans. Explore our Smart Tuition options.

Step 7: Register for Classes
Attend New Student Registration to sign up for classes. (After our March Registration session, class selection is done individually. Families should schedule registration with the admission office and your son). Class placements are made to appropriately reflect your child’s potential. Learn about our Academic departments.
