Saint Thomas Academy offers one of the strongest athletic programs in the area. Our student-athletes win awards and recognition, but also take away powerful lessons and life skills from their time on the ice, field, court, mat and track.
Our Middle School athletic programs allows for students in 6th through 8th grade to participate in, and enhance their skills in sports that they may be interested in continuing in High School.
The Saint Thomas Academy Middle School football staff would like to welcome all returning and prospective football players in grades 6-8 to the 2018 season! There are two upcoming mini-camps on August 2 and August 9, from 6-8 PM - we’ll meet in the team room in the lower level of Flynn Hall and then proceed to the field. The uniform for mini-camp will be T-shirts, shorts and cleats. All football equipment for the season will be provided except for mouth guards and cleats. (Please note that Saint Thomas Academy football players are required to wear black cleats.) The equipment handout date will be announced at mini-camp and regular practice will begin on August 20.
All Middle School football players / parents must complete the online MSHSL paperwork and baseline IMPACT concussion testing with our athletic trainer, Melissa Haupt. In addition, all players must have a physical completed within the last three years on file with the school nurse. For more information, please see the Sports Medicine Page. If you have any questions about these requirements, please contact our Assistant Athletic Director, Julie Marks, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
