ST.jpgCo-Curricular Activities

Saint Thomas Academy students can choose to participate in a variety of co-curricular activities and events with fellow classmates and some activities with female students from Convent of the Visitation School, our sister school. Many co-curricular activities develop and explore new talents and skills with the young men and benefit the greater community. More than 90% of students participate in co-curricular athletics and/or activities.

Saint Thomas Academy's co-curricular activity program is designed to meet the needs and foster the interests of all students. It is part of the school's philosophy to involve students in activities beyond the classroom. Participation contributes to an espirit de corps and provides more avenues for individuals to achieve excellence.

For some activities, students must meet specific criteria, such as high academic standing. For others, students must meet more general criteria. In no case may a student continue in a co-curricular activity when such activity impedes his studies or proves detrimental to him in other ways. All activities have a faculty member or other adult as a moderator.

Students involved in co-curricular activities are held to the same standards and expectations as students involved in athletics.
