Mission/Vision Statement
The members of the Advancement Office will promote higher levels of philanthropy
from all constituents in support of the mission and traditions of Saint Thomas Academy.
The Advancement team will support the external activities of Saint Thomas Academy (including
admissions, fundraising, alumni activities, the STA Community Auction, athletics, theater, and much
more) in a cooperative spirit of philanthropy so constituents feel they have ownership in the vision
and mission of the Academy and in the support of Catholic education in the Twin Cities.

The money raised supports many areas of Saint Thomas Academy:
Scholarships - helping make an STA education and experience accessible for many young men who otherwise may not be able to afford it
Teacher and staff salaries and benefits
Classroom and teaching support supplies, such as science lab supplies
Co-curricular activities
