SAINT THOMAS ACADEMY’S RINEHART SIGNS WITH ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY
 
MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn., Feb. 3, 2010 – Saint Thomas Academy announced today that senior cadet
I. Rinehart of Saint Paul has signed a letter of intent to play football for Illinois State University (Redbirds).
 
Rinehart was the starting right offensive tackle for the Saint Thomas Academy Cadets in his junior and senior years. He also played defensive tackle and defensive end. He was chosen an All-Conference Honorable Mention as a junior and was All-Conference as a senior. He was also selected by his teammates to be one of the captains his senior year. His outstanding play and leadership helped propel the Cadets to a combined record of 21-3 over the last two years, two Conference Co-Championships, two Section Championships, and an appearance in the State Semifinals at the Metrodome this past fall.
