Highlights from the 2004-05 school year
The Swimming and Diving team won the State Championship for the sixth time in seven years. The team won the True Team State Meet. The team also scored its 100th consecutive dual meet win, smashing a record that had been on the Minnesota record books since the 1960s.
The Hockey team placed fourth in the Class A State Hockey Tournament.
The Basketball team was runner-up in the Section Championship.
The Alpine Ski team won the Classic Suburban Conference Meet.
The Tennis team tied for first place in the Conference.
The Middle School 8th Grade Basketball team won the CAA Championship.
The Middle School 8th Grade Soccer team won the Twin City Championship and the CAA Championship.
Individual Accomplishments -
Two Cross Country runners qualified for the state tournament.
Five football players were named All-Conference.
Four football players were named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Three soccer players were named All-Conference.
Four soccer players were named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
The four-member, 200-breaststroke relay team set a new Conference record.
Two swimmers were named Academic All-Stars by the NISCA.
Four Nordic skiers were named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
One hockey player was named to the Wells Fargo All-Tournament team during the state tournament.
Another player was a finalist for the Herb Brooks Award.
Both players were named All-State Honorable Mention.
Three wrestlers were named All-Conference Honorable Mention.
One tennis player qualified for the state tournament.
One basketball player was selected as one of the 31 best high school players in the country and won a gold medal for the USA White team during the 2005 USA Basketball Olympic Development Camp.
