Media Center Hours -

Monday - Thursday: 7:15 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:15 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

 

To Log onto the Saint Thomas Academy server follow the steps below:

For a Windows Computer

  • Make sure you are connected to the World Wide Web
  • Using Internet Explorer or FireFox go to the following url:
    ftp://username@jefferson.cadets.com (for example: ftp://jkaydet12@jefferson.cadets.com)
  • Use the password that you log on to the computers at school
  • You can only drag and drop documents to your home computer in order to edit the documents
  • You can return the document to the server by dropping it back to the folder on the server

For a Macintosh Computer

  • Make sure you are connected to the World Wide Web
  • Click on GO in your menubar, drag to Connect to Server
  • In the Server Address box type in: jefferson.cadets.com
  • Type in your user name and password (for example: user name: jkaydet12 password: cadet)
  • A share point will be on your desktop
  • You can only drag and drop documents to your home computer in order to edit the documents
  • You can return the document to the server by dropping it back to the folder on the server
  • To disconnect put the share point in the trash
