Annual Close Up Trip to Washington, D.C.
March 28 - April 2, 2010

Close Up is a program which brings high school students from all over the country to Washington, D.C. in order to learn more about the government and the city.

Students participate in lively lectures and debates about current and past political topics. Tours are arranged for the students; these include excursions to monuments, museums, and other areas of historical interest. A highlight of the trip is the "Capitol Hill Day," whereby the students are able to meet with senators and representatives, as well as tour the U.S. Capitol.

The trip is open to students in grades 10-12. An enrollment deposit of $100 is due by December 23,
the total cost of the trip is $1,838 per person.
