2010 Camp Dodge Trip

From 2-6 August, 25 cadets from Saint Thomas Academy joined more than 150 cadets from other Army JROTC programs in Minnesota and Iowa at Camp Dodge, Iowa, for the 2010 summer camp.  During the five-day camp, cadets were trained on water survival, rappelling, rock climbing, land navigation, rope bridges, leadership reaction course, many physical fitness events and drill. Senior Cadet Furth won “Top Cadet in Physical Fitness” and Sophomore Cade Williams won “Best Overall Cadet.” In addition, each cadet was awarded the summer camp, adventuring training and land navigation ribbons. Congrats and well done to all STA Cadets for completing this camp!
