Co-Curricular Student Eligibility
A student is ineligible to participate in co-curricular activities if, at the end of a formal grading period (quarter, semester), he has failed to meet the GPA criterion (grade 7 = 1.7; grades 8-12 = 2.0) or has received a failing (F) or incomplete (I) grade in any course.
Eligibilty Conditions:
a. The student is permitted to practice/rehearse but may not perform during his period of ineligibility.
b. Eligibility can be regained at mid-quarter of the next grading period if a review of the student’s performance at that time indicates that the student meets the GPA criterion and does not have a failing (F) grade(s) in any class.
c. If the student fails to meet the GPA criterion or has a failing (F) grade(s) in any class at the mid-quarter, he cannot regain his eligibility until the end of that grading period (quarter/semester).
d. If a student is ineligible due to an Incomplete (I) grade, he may regain his eligibility as soon as he satisfactorily completes the work, without waiting until the mid-quarter. A student with an incomplete in either the quarter or semester is ineligible until the incomplete is made up.
At the end of a semester, a student is eligible if he meets the GPA standards in either his semester or quarter grades.
