Rifle Team

In April 2007, the Saint Thomas Academy Rifle Team competed in the annual U.S. Army Junior Air Rifle Championship. The challenge was open to all shooting teams in the United States for grades 9-12.

In true cadet fashion, our team won the gold medal and placed first in the state of Minnesota.
The four-person team included Steve Seifert '07, W. Sullivan '09, B. Bowersox '09 and
D. Zimmermann '10. Their coach, CW4 Preblich, said that, “These guys are good, very good,” when asked about the shooters. There is no doubt that the future looks bright for the STA Rifle Team.
