Cadet Incentive Program for the Community Auction
In December, students in grades 7-12 came home with a Cadet Incentive pamphlet. The student was to give the form to one of his parents, who would fill it out and give it back to their son, so that he could hand it back the next week. If the pamphlets were handed back to his company commander on Monday he was rewarded three points, if he turned it back on Tuesday he got two points, and if he returned it on Wednesday or later he got one point.
Therefore, the company that had the highest overall percentage won. For the fourth year in a row Band Company won the Cadet Incentive program. Band had a 96% rating, beating the nearest competition by 6%. Each member of Band Company received a free Chipotle burrito, a free sub from Subway, a free lunch at school one day, an out-of-uniform day, and the pleasure of playing (and hopefully beating) the Visitation Softball team in a dodge ball game.
After the news of this victory came through, C/MAJ Lauer, the company commander of Band, said, “My guys were really dedicated to winning it this year. Everyone did what they were supposed to do. Now all we have to worry about is beating the girls.”
