Celebrating brains: Saint Thomas Academy takes first place at Minnesota State Economics Challenge competition
St. Paul, MN – In a hard-fought competition, Saint Thomas Academy was crowned the winner of the Adam Smith division of the 2008 Minnesota State Economics Challenge competition held April 16, 2008 at the University of Minnesota, St. Paul Campus. The college-bowl-like competition blends the excitement of an athletic event with the pursuit of academic excellence and tests students' knowledge of economic concepts and theories.
Members of the champion Saint Thomas Academy team are: J. Davis, C. Evans, E. Harms and C. Nocker and their teacher/advisor was Dean Simmons.
