On Wednesday, October 28, the Campus Ministers sponsored the annual Haunting for the Hungry event among the Corps of Cadets and the Middle School. Each student was encouraged to dress in a Halloween costume, and to make a donation of two dollars and two canned goods. The donations were sent to the Franciscan Brothers of Peace in St. Paul, who devote themselves to serving and defending the hungry, most vulnerable of our society. Haunting for the Hungry received overwhelming support, raising $1,277 in cash and hundreds of pounds of food, and will undoubtedly help out many needy people in our community, as we approach the Thanksgiving season.
