Class of 2017 Information
One of our goals during a cadet's senior year is to work with students and parents so that he may finish up his STA career on task, focused and informed. This specific page is designed to do so, along with information relayed to seniors in school and information e-mailed to parents of seniors.

Military Awards Night, 7:00 p.m. in the court (by invitation).
Senior Eagle, Saber & Torch Awards and dinner are at STA, 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria (by invitation after final exams grades are processed).
Baccalaureate Mass and Reception are at STA, 7:30 p.m. in the court. We only have room for the student and his parents/guardians at the Mass and reception. Thank you for understanding our space limitations.
Cadet dress for both events is Class A1 uniform (white pants, blouse coat, tie and gloves).
All seniors are required to attend the Alumni Association breakfast and graduation practice at 9:30 a.m. beginning in the cafeteria (dismissal no later than noon). This is a great time to have him deliver your Senior Party donation.
From the Commandant: As part of graduation practice, each senior will be inspected by the military department to ensure compliance with haircut standards. A regulation haircut is required for practice. EVERY YEAR WE HAVE A FEW SENIORS WHO ATTEMPT TO CHALLENGE SCHOOL STANDARDS… and it results in an uncomfortable situation that could have been avoided. Parents, please assist us in ensuring that this standard is met for graduation practice. Thank you for your cooperation.
Graduation at the Cathedral of Saint Paul 7:30 p.m. (students must be there at 7:00 p.m.)
Cadet dress for graduation is Class A1 uniform (white pants, blouse coat, tie, hat and gloves).
Graduation details for attendees:
Seating at the Cathedral for graduation is on a first-come basis; there is no reserved seating. There are no tickets and no limits to the number of guests. With the ceremony beginning at 7:30 p.m., the seniors need to be at the Cathedral (the Hall of Angels in the basement) by 7:00 p.m. The boys will receive all of this information at practice. Please note that parking is a problem every year so you may want to plan ahead for that. In the past, large groups have sent a few people ahead to "save" a pew.
