Annual Fort Snelling Cemetery Service Project
Join other Saint Thomas Academy alumni, staff, students and friends for our Annual Fort Snelling Cemetery Service Project on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. This project helps the grounds crew at Fort Snelling Cemetery to prepare for Memorial Day activities. In past years we have placed United States flags throughout the cemetery as our job for the day.
All volunteers will meet at the Fort Snelling Cemetery white maintenance center, which is three streets to the right past the main entrance to the cemetery, between 8:45 - 9:00 a.m. for juice and bagels. We will break into teams and work from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m. All volunteers must wear some type of long pants in order to work in the cemetery. It is also suggested that you bring along a pair of work gloves.
