Our students are some of the best and brightest in the Twin Cities area. In addition to national recognition, such as the National Merit Program and AP Scholars, the school has a number of academic honors.
2017 National Merit Scholarship Program Recipients
Brendan Houle '18 (left) received the 2017-18 Scholar Award by the National Hispanic Recognition Program. This is an academic honor for students who scored in the top 2.5% among Hispanic and Latino PSAT/NMSQT test takers. Jacob Weinstein '18 was named Semifinalist in the 63rd annual National Merit Scholarship Program, which represents less than one percent of the nation's high school graduating seniors.

More than 1.5 million high school juniors in the nation entered the 2017 National Merit Scholarship Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®), which served as an initial screen of program entrants. The nationwide pool of semifinalists, which represents less than 1 percent of U.S. high school students, includes the highest scoring entrants in each state. The commended students pool, which represents the top five percent of U.S. high school seniors, is also made up of the highest scoring entrants in each state.
