Test Prep Summer and Fall
SUMMER TEST PREP
Breakaway will be offering two in-person small group prep options this summer in late July and August. Both sections will meet at STA for three hours on four consecutive Mondays or four consecutive Wednesdays for a total of 12 hours of in-class instruction. In addition, Breakaway will also run a two-hour review session via Zoom on Wednesday evening, September 6th from 7pm-9pm.
Section A will meet on four consecutive Mondays as follows:Monday, July 31, 9am - 12pm

Section B will meet on four consecutive Wednesdays as follows:

The fee for the class, including 14 hours of prep, six hours of practice testing and all materials, is $595. Financial assistance is available to scholarship families from Breakaway Test Prep. Your student is welcome and encouraged to complete a practice exam prior to starting the class and after finishing the class. A link to register your student for a Breakaway practice exam can be found below.
Your student is welcome and encouraged to complete a baseline practice test with Breakaway prior to starting the ACT prep class. Students are also encouraged to take a second test after completing the class. Your registration fee includes TWO practice exams. For the class of 2025
All juniors will be taking the PSAT on October 11th. The PSAT is mostly a practice version of the SAT, but it can potentially add scholarships for college. Below are two opportunities to help prepare for the PSAT. Students can also prepare on their own through College Board- Khan Academy. https://satsuite.

Digital PSAT Practice Exam
The College Board is transitioning the PSAT and SAT from pencil-and-paper format to digital format. Becoming familiar with the new digital-format tests will be key for students to feel confident as they head into their official digital exams. Our friends at Revolution Prep are excited to support us through this transition by offering a free digital PSAT experience that most accurately reflects the official College Board test in format, user experience, adaptivity, and content. Students will learn how to navigate the new digital testing format and practice using the exact tools available to them on the real test, such as the graphing calculator, digital annotations, answer elimination, and much more!
Upon completing the practice exam, you will receive a score report illustrating three high-impact areas to focus on for each section of the test (math, reading, and writing) and work with an Academic Advisor to build out a customized support plan to help you feel confident on testing day.
