History Day
WEDNESDAY, February 12, 2025
The Social Studies Department at Saint Thomas Academy invites you to be a judge in our 31st Annual History Day in Minnesota contest on February 12, 2025. This year’s contest features our 8th and 11th grade students creating exhibits, websites, documentaries, and performances on the theme of “Rights and Responsibilities in History.”
Our school contest will be held at STA on the evening of Wednesday, February 7. We would like judges to arrive at 6:15 p.m. for a brief training session and the contest will begin at 7:00 p.m. Judging should be completed by 9:00 p.m. and some groups will be done earlier.
We invite parents, family members, faculty, alumni and anyone in the community with an interest in history to be a judge. No experience or special knowledge is required. We need about 40 judges in order to create groups that are small enough to give the judges enough time with each entry.
