Financing a Saint Thomas Academy Education
We are committed to working with you to clarify the Indexed Tuition process and explain financing options. Last year 49.6% of Academy students collectively received over $3.5 million dollars in financial awards and assistance.
APPLYING FOR indexed tuition
All Index Tuition applicants must complete a Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) application. TADS is used by most Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis to determine a family's ability to pay tuition. TADS applications can be filled online or can be printed and mailed to you from TADS. Completing your TADS application online will expedite the process.
The deadline for Indexed Tuition applications is January 15. Submitting TADS applications after the deadline may affect your Indexed Tuition award, as we have limited funding. Funding cannot be allocated to TADS applicants unless the student has been granted admission to Saint Thomas Academy. TADS may be filed prior to the admission decision, but notification of potential tuition assistance qualification will not be sent until after a student is admitted.

Finding Success in College
Just as we prepare students academically, we help students build the confidence and comfort to work directly with professors, to seek clarification and additional support as they need it, to develop time-management and organizational skills; to be advocates of their own learning.
Saint Thomas Academy students go on to attend an impressive range of prestigious colleges and universities. Recently, the most popular schools chosen by Saint Thomas Academy graduates were Boston College, Creighton, Iowa State, Notre Dame, University of Minnesota, University of St. Thomas and the University of Wisconsin.
