Michael Miller is a sophomore from Mendota and started at Saint Thomas Academy in Grade 7 after attending Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School. Michael and his family attend Nativity Catholic Church. Michael's grandfather, great-grandfather and great uncle are alumni of the Academy. Michael is involved with the CHOOSE club, the Student Ambassadors and is an altar server. He also plays hockey, baseball and participates in the boxing club. Michael shares his favorite memory so far of STA, "participating in the marksmanship unit in military class freshman year is my favorite memory. The techniques and skill needed to hit the target from different positions was challenging and I loved the friendly competition we all had to see who was the best marksman. It was definitely not me!

A sample listing of sophomore electives are: Cadet Vision, Ceramics, Computer Graphics, Film & Video Production, Digital Photography, Drawing and Painting, Animation & Motion Design, Beginning Guitar, Band, Choir, Health Matters, Intro to Accounting and US/Latin America Relations.

Our state-of-the-art, 6,000-square-foot Innovation Center, which opened in the fall 2017, offers the latest in technology and instruction in STEM disciplines. Vincent J. Flynn Hall, dedicated in 2013, provides health-club-caliber workout and athletic spaces, as well as impressive Fine Arts facilities.
