Patrick Koegel is a freshman from Mendota Heights and began his education at Saint Thomas Academy in Grade 6 after attending Faithful Shepherd. Patrick also had an older brother graduate in 2016. Patrick is involved with the Yearbook (Kaydet), Spanish club and Clay Target. He also plays football, swims, and runs track & field. Patrick shares "I like how the school treats the students, at STA you get to know all of your teachers and they get to know you because the average class size is small. I also like how you are able to be in clubs like the Student Ambassadors, because of this group the administration is able to get input from the students about how to improve the school for the better. Lastly, I like how instead of me hating school, it is become my second home. I live close to school and somedays I'm there from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and I don't mind it."
