We are proud to apply a portion of our Aquinas Annual Fund to award annual academic scholarships to reward academic achievement and offset tuition costs for a number of STA students.
Applying for Academic Scholarships
In addition to our grant program, incoming middle and high school students may qualify for merit-based academic scholarships based on testing scores and prior academic performance.
Headmaster Awards are competitive merit-based scholarships determined by a student’s prior academic record, entrance testing and school recommendations. All applicants will be considered and no application is required.
Headmaster Awards are renewable awards that range from $500 to $2,500 per year.
New students applying for ninth grade will be considered for Headmaster Awards.
Cadet Awards for Academics, Leadership and Service are competitive merit-based scholarships awarded to students who have demonstrated academic success, leadership and/or service to their school and community.
- Students must be entering into grades 6, 7, 8, or 9
- Student must have solid academic standing - a minimum 3.0 GPA and be in active in the school community
- Student should answer essay questions about academics, leadership and service
- Recipients may be considered for renewal annually. However, please note that renewal of this award is not automatic and should not be assumed. It is the intent of the Admissions Committee to provide scholarship recognition to as many students as possible, while continuing to recognize the most deserving of applicants.
