cadetworks Internship PrograM
This program engages The Academy network to find internships and relevant work experience for Cadet Alumni currently in the beginning stages of their career development. This program will aide our young alumni in building their resume, gaining vital professional experience, and developing an understanding of a professional environment. Employers receive the benefit of having access to a candidate pool that includes some of the most qualified students in the country.
How does it work?
The CadetWorks team engages companies, and organizations that are interested in interviewing qualified candidates for internship positions. While recruiting partnering companies, the team also invites all college-age cadet alumni to register for the program by filling out a short online form, and supplying an updated resume.
Confirmed companies and employers commit to taking part in our interview process. Our partnering companies provide an up to date job description that will be posted to all registered candidates. Students then indicate which positions they would like to interview for. During our annual interview day here at the Academy, companies will host a number of 20 minute interviews in order to be introduced to our amazing candidates.
After the full day of interviewing, companies are invited to continue on with their process. Some companies decide to make their offers after the initial interview, others invite specific candidates to move on with the company's interview process. It is a "free market" and companies and candidates are encouraged to make decisions independent of the program.
