Years of Experience: 14 years
High School attended: Marmion Academy (Aurora, IL)
College and Major: Marquette University (BA in History)
Why Saint Thomas Academy? As a product of Catholic education I was drawn to Saint Thomas. In addition, I graduated from Marmion Academy in Illinois. Marmion is an all male, college prep school, run by Benedictine Monks with a JROTC program so Saint Thomas Academy reminds me a lot of my high school experience. At my previous school I lived far away so I was unable to coach once my kids were born. Living closer has allowed me to coach again. Coaching gives me the opportunity to connect with my students outside of the classroom and share my love of the game.
A fun fact about yourself: I am a huge Marquette University basketball fan. During my time at Marquette the team was led by Dwyane Wade and made it to the Final 4. The following year I went to the walk on tryouts, but sadly wasn't selected. This was probably because I wasn't good enough.
Family: My wife, Betsy, and I were married in 2007 and we have 2 kids, Eloise and Timothy.
