2024 MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL SEASON INFORMATION

Fall Season runs from Monday, August 26 through Thursday, October 11.

Equipment Handout will be from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21 in the Equipment Room.  The Equipment room is in the basement of Flynn Hall down by the weight room.

We will practice Monday through Friday each week.

Practices will be from 3:30- 5:00 p.m.

We will ask our Middle School Football players to stay and lift after practice for 30 minutes on Mondays and Wednesdays with our Strength Coach Steve Rosga.

Friday practices will be run by our Grade 10 coaches and focus on gamified football drills and 3 on 3 football games.

6th Graders:

All STA 6th graders are welcome to play on the Middle School football team.  It's important for parents and athletes to understand that our Middle School team and our league is made up of 6-8 graders.  Our football programs top priority is the safety of all our players.

Our staff will manage practices by ability level to keep athletes safe.  This is much harder to do in game competition so we may limit the playing time in games for athletes who are mismatched.  Feel free to email Coach Walch with questions (twalch@cadets.com).
