Each fall, schools across the state of Minnesota join forces to raise money for the Randy Shaver Cancer Fund. Saint Thomas Academy has raised over $60,000 in our support of this event!
This football season, join us the week of August 31 as we TACKLE CANCER! You will find a list of events and activities below to support the cause. Sadly, we all know someone who has been touched by cancer.
Catholics vs Cancer T-shirt
Saint Thomas Academy students may purchase the commemorative t-shirt, available in all sizes (XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL), while supplies last, during lunch (in the cafeteria) or after school at Saint Thomas Academy on September 1 and 2. After school sales hours will be from 2:50-3:30 p.m. in the Flynn Hall lobby. Remaining shirts will be sold at the football game at TCO on Thursday, September 3.
Lunch: 11:30-1:00 p.m.
After School: 2:50-3:30 p.m.
Students may only wear the 2026 Tackle Cancer shirt to be out-of-uniform on Thursday, September 3.

MVP Cards
Purchase a blue paper football to be displayed on our MVP Tackle Cancer Wall of Fame in Flynn Hall through September 25! Paper footballs are a great way to honor someone who has been touched by cancer.
Game Tickets
Tickets to the football game against Cretin-Derham Hall on Thursday, September 3 at TCO Stadium go on sale soon.
We cannot guarantee that tickets will be available the day of our game, so if you are planning on attending, please purchase a ticket as soon as you are able. This will be a wonderful Thursday night atmosphere as one of the best rivalries in the state of Minnesota continues.
