Why Saint Thomas Academy? I've attended Catholic School throughout my life and have found the combination of faith, education and athletics to be pillars of fighting the good fight and living out my potential as a human being. I see Saint Thomas Academy as a great setting to pursue this in my life now and help others on a similar journey. I enjoy the community and positive energy that develops on a track and field team and I want to help bring the best out of the student-athletes I work with.
A fun fact about yourself: My first job was at Mancini's.
Family: I have 3 siblings (one older sister, a younger sister and a younger brother). We all grew up in St Paul.

Why Saint Thomas Academy? As a transplant from Ohio with a love of High School sports, I began attending STA athletic events in the 1990's though I had no connection to the school at that time. That experience led to learning more about this amazing community and the decision to send my Son here - K-12. As a proud and grateful parent of Visitation and STA graduates, coaching is my way of giving back and maintaining this important relationship.

Purpose Statement: Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in Africa, a lion wakes up knowing it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you're the lion or a gazelle, when the sun comes up, you'd better be running.

Uniform
Information will be available in November 2025. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Stevson at: rstevson@cadets.com.
All relay athletes' uniforms must match, including undergarments (such as compression)? As a team, we are asking the athletes to purchase blue and white compression items. This will limit inconsistencies at the Section and State Meets.

- Communication:
- If you're going to be late or miss practice, it is your responsibility (athlete) to communicate to your head coach and position coach that you will be late or will be absent.
