Bridge to STA
Bridge to STA is strongly recommended for new Saint Thomas Academy students to feel comfortable with the transition to a new school year. Students learn about organizational strategies, time management, tutoring/study strategies, test preparation, note-taking, and many other helpful skills by using material from the upcoming first weeks of their math, theology, and science courses.
Students are required to complete small amounts of homework during the session. Students need to read one of their summer reading books (book titles will be released in May) prior to the beginning of this course. Getting to know other new students is a great advantage. Students also receive an orientation to the building and meet members of the faculty and staff.
**Please note, that this is not required but is highly recommended.

Age Group: Incoming STA students entering grades 6-8
8:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Session 5: July 8 - 11
Session 6: July 15 - 18
Session 7: July 22 - 25
Session 8: August 5 - 8

Each session lasts one week (Monday - Thursday).
Description: This course is open to students new to STA. Getting to know other new students is a great advantage. Students also receive an orientation to the building and meet members of the faculty and staff. Each session lasts one week (Monday - Thursday).
Fee: $150.00, Maximum of 14 per session
