STA Parent-Teacher Conferences

Middle and Upper School Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held next ThursdayFebruary 15, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. These arena-style conferences will be held in the Court, O'Shaughnessy Gym, Cafeteria, and Anderson Learning Commons. Please enter through Vince Flynn Hall, where you will be able to pick up a map with teacher conference locations.

Please bring a copy of your son's schedule with you. We ask that you limit your conferences to five minutes so that all parents have the opportunity to confer with teachers. Please make an appointment with teachers if you need a longer conference at another time.  We look forward to seeing you next Thursday!

Wireless Internet Access - UPDATE

Our wireless internet network has recently undergone a security upgrade.  Our previous open wifi network has been replaced with a new, secure network access for students, faculty/staff and guests to our building.  All Saint Thomas Academy wifi users will now login to the appropriate, password protected, network when accessing the internet.

While student internet access has not changed, the new system is significantly more secure and provides us the ability to customize access and bandwidth to meet our student and teachers’ needs.  Mr. McKeehan, our Network Administrator, and I are continually monitoring our internet network and making the necessary adjustments to ensure that we are providing our students the necessary tools and access to do their academic work.  Since our new network is not configured to support significant video streaming and gaming activities, students may be utilizing their cell phone or hotspot data for these non-academic activities, which could impact your personal accounts.

Guests to campus will no longer be able to access the same network as our students.  Passwords for the guest network are available when you visit the building.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns about our wifi and network access.
