I hope everybody is well! We are excited to welcome our 2028 graduating class to STA and Cadet Football. We are constantly onboarding 9th graders into school and to our Team Snap system. If you know somebody that isn't receiving email please have them contact me at twalch@cadets.com - thank you!
Summer Camp Registration:
All football players who will be entering grades 9-12 for the 2024-2025 and plan to practice this summer must register. The registration fee is $100 for summer camp. The summer fee is used for snacks, technology, equipment, apparel, coaching stipends, tournament fees and orientation / leadership programming. Please register here ASAP - Thank you!
Grade 9 Summer Schedule:
Summer: 9 Practice Days Total (Meetings/Practice 6:30 a.m.-9 a.m.)
June 18-20: Install Week 1
6:30 a.m.-9 a.m. Meeting / Practice Format
June 24-26 : Orientation & Leadership Week
6:30 a.m.-9 a.m. Meeting / Practice Format (Tackling & Blocking Camp, Cross Over Emphasis, Gamified Drills and Competitions)
9 a.m.-10 a.m. Break / Snack
10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Orientation & Leadership Sessions (Major Applications, Team Building, Goal Setting and Speaker Series)
July 16-18 Install Week 2
6:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. Meeting / Practice Format
* Goal is to run our grade 9 practices alongside our varsity schedule so we can message together, start our mentorship program and allow our coaches to watch some of the Grade 9 practices. Grade 9 will not practice on Monday, June 17 or Monday, July 15 as it's a day for our Grade 9 coaches to shadow our varsity practices.
Equipment Handout:
Equipment handout will take place on Sunday, June 2 in Flynn Hall. Our equipment room is downstairs next to our wrestling room. Our coaching staff will be on site to assist with gear fittings.
Grade 9 (2028 Grads) will draw equipment from 6:45 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Our make-up date for equipment draw is Monday, June 10 from 10:00 a.m. - Noon.
Captains Practice: All are welcome to Gerry Brown Field from 7:30 p.m-.9:00 p.m.

What do I need to play football?
Cleats: Game cleats must be white or black. Our preference being that whichever shoe color you pick is majority white or majority black. Please stay away from colors that aren’t part of our uniform or school colors (ie. anything not white, gray, black or one of our blues).
Socks: Our sock color is white. Socks will be issued prior to fall camp. We will have some extras if needed at $10 a pair.
Sleeves/Tights: All white - No exceptions!
Gloves: Stay within our team / school colors (Gray, White, Black or Blues)
Mouthguards: Please purchase a mouthguard for summer and fall camp (mold as needed)
