Instructions are available HERE
Yearbook Awards/Activities Notes for Seniors
Each senior will complete a Google form to list the awards and activities to be noted beneath his picture in the yearbook. The link for this Google form will be sent in the spring. Before the yearbook goes to print, seniors and parents will be asked to proof the entries in late May or early June. An email will be sent with the proof.
Senior Yearbooks
Each senior will receive a complimentary copy of the 2022 Kaydet. The orders will be completed by the school, so there is no need to place an order unless you would like an additional copy. Copies of the 2022 Kaydet and the student produced 2022 Cadence will be mailed to each graduating senior.

Senior Service
Dozens of seniors are busy this summer completing their Senior Service Requirement of 40 hours. Many seniors are working with children in a church or educational setting, visiting the elderly, attending special needs camps as 1-1's at a variety of agencies.
Although the senior graduation requirement is 40 hours, 10 of the 40 can be completed at STA summer athletic camps, Feed My Starving Children, Eagle Scout projects, community youth sports camps, etc. Many seniors complete the final 10 hours of volunteer service during senior year participating on popular opportunities that involve the Honor Guard, Thanksgiving Meals on Wheels, STA Admissions Events, etc.
That leaves 30 hours of service described as "direct-care" service to children, the elderly, special-needs populations, special-needs youth camps, church youth activities, and service oriented mission trips.
If you have any questions about whether your service is with an approved agency, email Mr. Seidel at jseidel@cadets.com.
Once the agency minimum of 30 hours is completed, an agency rep (not a student or parent) should email Mr. Seidel to confirm the completed service. That student will then be eligible for next May's Senior Project Lottery number assignment to be held in mid-September for those that did service this summer.
Students are NOT required to complete their 40 hours this summer. The deadline for the senior requirement is March 1.
