The guidance and counseling department promotes services which foster emotional health and personal growth, prepares students for post-secondary life, and supports them in coping with difficulties which might adversely impact their academic progress and personal development.

Department members help students maximize their academic achievement while acknowledging every student’s individual uniqueness. Partnering with educators, parents/guardians, and the community, department members strive to ensure all students at STA develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding necessary to be successful in their future endeavors.
