B.A. in Mathematics and Computer Science from Middlebury College
M.Ed in Teaching and Learning from Saint Mary's University

Math teacher Anne Phillips finds Saint Thomas Academy to be a special place. “These young men have wonderful bonds with each other, a true brotherhood. Saint Thomas Academy is a very special place, I feel very lucky to be a part of such a community”.  Her favorite memories at STA thus far are introducing yoga balls into her classroom, celebrating Pi Day, students creating Christmas origami ornaments, playing games with the students and hearing them laugh and having fun. "When presenting a math lesson, I try to connect the information to when the student would use the material in his life. In addition, at the end of the school year, I like to do a project to connect what the students have learned to real-life situations."  Prior to Saint Thomas Academy and her teaching career, Anne also served as a dolphin trainer for a short period of time.
